Gerri Bowen

I love to write. I love to read. Typical writer. I love to discover new authors, and will read just about anything, but unless I’m researching, my first choice is fiction. Fiction with a HEA or Happily Ever After. If I want to be depressed after I read a story, I can read the newspaper.

I was born and raised in Maryland, but moved to South Central Pennsylvania five years ago. Lovely countryside.

Traveling to other countries is a great joy of mine, but it’s been about eleven years since I’ve been overseas. Soon, I hope.

Maeve Greyson
www.maevegreyson.com
Maeve Greyson used to shush the voices in her head. After all, the full time job at the steel mill might not understand about “invisible friends”. But the voices refused to hush without a fight. To placate the insistent visitors, Maeve wrote down their conversations and guess what –other folks liked reading them. Even her buddies at the steel mill. Who knew?

Maeve owes the day job a few more years but the characters in her head refuse to wait for her retirement to have their stories told. They’re kind of stubborn like that.

So after hours, Maeve creates her paranormal and fantasy romances from her snug little home in western Kentucky. Tucked away in the middle of a five-acre wood, she flavors her stories with magic and legends. You never know what might happen to get to that happily ever after.

Her writing partner, Jasper, the rat terrier/Chihuahua mix, critiques all her work. Under his sharp eye and the endless support of her husband of nearly thirty-two years, Maeve escapes the frustrations of the real world by channeling the “voices” to her keyboard.

Cynthia Owens
http://authorcynthiaowens.com
I believe I was destined to be interested in history. One of my distant ancestors, Thomas Aubert, reportedly sailed up the St. Lawrence River to discover Canada some 26 years before Jacques Cartier’s 1534 voyage. Another relative was a 17thCentury “King’s Girl,” one of a group of young unmarried girls sent to New France (now the province of Quebec) as brides for the habitants (settlers) there.

My passion for reading made me long to write books like the ones I enjoyed, and I tried penning sequels to my favorite Nancy Drew mysteries. Later, fancying myself a female version of Andrew Lloyd Weber, I drafted a musical set in Paris during WWII.

A former journalist and lifelong Celtophile, I enjoyed a previous career as a reporter/editor for a small chain of community newspapers before returning to my first love, romantic fiction. My stories usually include an Irish setting, hero or heroine, and sometimes all three. My novels, In Sunshine or in Shadow and Coming Home, set in post-Famine Ireland, are available from Highland Press.

I am a member of the Romance Writers of America, Hearts Through History Romance Writers, and Celtic Hearts Romance Writers. A lifelong resident of Montreal, Canada, I still live there with my own Celtic hero and our two children.

Married to my high school sweetheart, I live on a farm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia surrounded by my children, grandbabies, and assorted animals. The rich history of Virginia, the Native Americans and the people who journeyed here from far beyond her borders are at the heart of my inspiration. I also write historical and time travels set in the British Isles.

Renee Vincent
I am an author with a passionate interest in Irish and Norse history. I live in the rolling hills of Kentucky with my husband and two children on a beautiful secluded farm of horses and hay fields. I am a sucker for a good cup of coffee (lots of cream and sugar...and whipped cream if I can get my hands on it), great conversation, and a lilting Irish accent. I love to read and I can't resist watching great epic historical movies.

I write historical romance with characters who are extra-ordinary as well as light paranormals where the super real must live in the real world. My objective is to whisk you away into a world of romance where you can be stronger, better, faster (oh, wait, that's the six million dollar man). Anyway, you get the picture. It's a place where anyone can fall in love and have a happily ever after . . . even if they are just a bit different.

I live in southern Tennessee with my husband of 22 years and our two children who are now attending college.

When I'm not busy at the day job, you'll likely find me reading or writing. I stick with romance novels because there absolutely, positively must be a happily-ever-after ending.

Linda Windsor
http://www.lindawindsor.com
Linda Windsor is the author of twenty-nine contemporary and historical novels. Her first sixteen were secular historical romance for Zebra/Kensington Publishing, NY as Linda Windsor and Linda Covington. In 1999, she switched to the inspirational market, once she was assured that Christian characters were not only flawed, but did indeed have hormones. Her late husband used to tease that there was a little of Linda in each of her heroines. Windsor contends he must have been referring to her sense of humor, resourcefulness and stubborness. NOT the figure.

Her inspirational historicals have placed in the secular historical category of some RWA contests and Affaire De Coeur polls. Both her inpirational historicals and romantic comedies, dashed with suspense, have won a few National Reader's Choice Awards, Aspen Golds, Barclay Golds, and numerous other RWA contests as well as the CBA Christy Award for the Irish Celtic RIONA, #2 of the Fires of Gleannmara series.
